How To Buy Airtel Airtime Using Mpesa

There are 2 main ways in which you can use Mpesa to buy Airtel Credit/Airtime for your phone.

1. Using Paybill to buy the Airtel Airtime
2. Using Ocharge which is an app to buy Airtel Airtime

USING PAYBILL TO BUY Airtel AIRTIME/Credit

Through this method, you will be purchasing your airtime through pesapal.

 It's a very simple procedure which is as follows.

• Select Mpesa
• Click on Lipa Na Mpesa then Select Paybill
• Enter the Business n.o as 220220
• Account n.o should be entered as follows AIRT[Your Number]

                     e.g AIRT0770256987

• Input the amount of Airtime you want to buy
• Enter you Pin then confirm the transaction.
• Wait for your Orange Airtime.

USING OCHARGE TO BUY ORANGE AIRTIME

It's the most preferable way to buy your Airtel airtime since you will be awarded points which you can redeem for certain services such as e.g getting discounts on certain shops, watching Imax Movies at a discounted price e.t.c

It's also a very simple and effective way of buying airtel airtime.The procedure is as follows.

• Download the Ocharge App from Playstore.
• Install the app then Register
• Click the Recharge button on the bottom right corner.Then click on Recharge Airtime.
• Enter the phone n.o and amount of Airtime you want to purchase.Proceed to Pay
• Enter the Safaricom/Mpesa n.o that will make the payment
• Confirm Payment.
• Ocharge Will give you payment instructions on how to pay for the airtime.

PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS

1. Go to Mpesa
2. Select buy Goods and Services
3. Enter Till n.o 167585
4. Enter the amount
5. Enter Mpesa Pin then Send.
6. You will then receive your Airtel airtime immediately
7. Ocharge will then update your points
