Kenya's Richest Female musician and enterpreneur dropped out of school and got married at the age of 14 yrs. By the time she was 20 yrs Akothee already had 4 kids to take care of and feed.
Her husband by then was still a student and she had to work for her step-mother as a househelp for a solid 7 yrs.
In 2003 she decided to go back to school after being a housewife for 10 yrs. She did her KCSE and scored an average of C+. She was the 3rd best in Her school and the first girl.
However Mathematics seemed alittle bit tricky for the musician and she ended up scoring a D-.
She encouraged girls not to give up in life even when in the most trying moments. She further stated that comparison is the greatest enemy of life because you might be comparing yourself with a person who is in another different level.
